PLAYBACK

PLAYBACK is a Nashville pop community event to gather, listen to unreleased music and share feedback in a safe, trusted environment at HOME in East Nashville.

The event starts with catching up before gathering around to listen to submissions. Wes Davenport (PØPSQUAD / No Country for New Nashville) and Chris Martignago (Hell Yes!) guide the event flow, offer their thoughts and pass the mic to get community insight.

Featured Guest info for March 20, 2024:

Dave is the bassist of American Authors, whose "Best Day Of My Life" remains one of the most sync'd songs of the last decade. Other major sync placements include The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, How to Train Your Dragon 2,The Lego Ninjago Movie, This Is Where I Leave You, as well as commercials for Hyundai, Lowe's, EA's FIFA and many more.

On top of being an artist, Dave is a producer, songwriter and indie record label founder of Little Planet Music. The label is an all-genre operation focused on classic artist development with modern-day challenges like social media creation in mind.

The approach is constructive and positive. It’s not a destruction derby. Hosts are music industry people with backgrounds ranging from A&R to media to successful songwriters.

Pop music is a spectrum, so pop-leaning indie, hiphop, R&B and songwriter submissions are welcome! Attendance is limited by capacity and via a first-come, first-serve basis. Submitting music doesn't guarantee every song will be played in the event, but Wes & Chris will do their very best to accommodate the most people they possibly can!

Listen to this month's LP before coming! Please follow us on Instragram at: https://www.instagram.com/nashvillelpclub/

This is in hopes of getting members to listen to impactful records and become familiar with artists and genres that they haven't heard before. Please see the website for all the information about the upcoming meet. Reach out to Brendan McManus at brendanmcmanus39@gmail.com or 203-554-5829 if you have any questions.
