Administration Assistant - HoriPro Entertainment Group

Work with VP of Administration and Corporate Affairs to assist with royalty administration tasks for HoriPro Entertainment Group. The position will also assist with some licensing and copyright duties.

This is a full time position including benefits; the position is available immediately. This position is evolving and may eventually exclude some of the duties described above or include other functions not listed.

Job Responsibilities:

Royalty Administration:

  • Enter royalty data and process statements from US and Foreign income sources in Simply Royalties, our royalty software program

  • Convert data into a spreadsheet template and upload electronic files in Simply Royalties

  • Perform research to ensure the accurate posting of royalties

  • Scan and file source documents and royalty reports

  • Assist with bi-annual client statement distribution

  • Assist the VP with any additional admin-related duties


  • Assist with scanning and filing of licensing documents

  • Enter historical license data into royalty database

  • Download license information from various sources into royalty database

  • Assist the Director of Licensing and Business Affairs with any additional licensing-related duties



  • Assist with various digitizing projects

  • Assist with cataloging and filing of archival documents

  • Assist with various copyright-related aspects of Simply Royalties

  • Perform general office duties such as making photocopies, faxing documents and assisting with


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience in Music Publishing Administration
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized; possessing strong research skills
  • The ability to self-prioritize multiple workloads and maintain a positive attitude under the
    pressure of deadlines
  • The ability to quickly learn and master new software and technology applications
  • Solid analytical and mathematical problem solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
