Join us for our 33rd Annual Music Row Turkey Bowl, followed by our Alumni Tailgate at the Vandy/Ole Miss game. 

Event time may change based on the timing of the Vandy/Ole Miss game.

Teams can have up to 16 players, only 2 non-music industry players per team. Team captains should register at the link above, registration forms for individual team members will be sent separately. Team fees are $600, with all proceeds going to OnSite Foundation/Ryan’s Grove in honor of Ryan Huie.

We are also hosting a Second Harvest food drive at the event. The team who collects the most pounds of food gets a bye into the playoff round of the tournament.

SOLID Presents: An Evening with Ron Fair

Join us for an evening with Ron Fair at the Tracking Room.

Music industry veteran Ron Fair has a 35 years-and-ongoing career as a major-label record company veteran, accomplished producer, arranger, recording engineer, songwriter, musical director and A&R Executive. Fair was previously Chairman, Geffen Records; President, A&M Records; and Chief Creative Officer/Executive Vice President, Virgin Records - all divisions of the Universal Music Group.   

Fair’s recent productions include Ariana Grande, John Legend, Fantasia, Kelsea Ballerini, Zara Larsson, Jake Owen, Jessie James Decker, Yolanda Adams, A Great Big World, Runaway June, Zac Brown, Michael Franti, Candi Carpenter and Essex County. Currently he is overseeing the re-boot of “My Little Pony” for Hasbro/Paramount Studios.

Fair’s recordings have won six Grammy awards and have been nominated 18 times. Fair spearheaded the US breakthrough of UK band Bastille, their hit “Pompeii” selling over three million copies. Fair discovered and shepherded Christina Aguilera - selling over 50 million copies, winning numerous Grammy awards.  Fair A&R’d Christina Aguilera’s first five albums.

Our Annual Alumni Meeting is where we get the opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments over the past year, talk about things we want to continue to improve, hear about upcoming alumni organized events, look forward to the future, and review the alumni board nomination process!  

This is also an opportunity for our 2nd Year Members to learn more about joining our alumni ranks!  

Drinks & Light Appetizers will be provided

We will spend just an hour in the ASCAP Board Room talking business.  

Promptly at 7:00pm we will walk over to the park area just next to ASCAP to hold a candle light memorial for SOLID Alumna Jaime Sarrantonio. Please join us to honor her memory and the light she shined on our community. Candles will be provided.

Our friends at the Nashville Humane Association will also be on location and we will be hosting our first-ever "Puppy Pong" Tournament! This event is free and open to the public. See you there!

Meet the next wave of industry professionals! Come network with fellow students as well as members of SOLID, and hear a special keynote presentation from Maverick Management's Halie Hampton. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

About Halie:
Halie Hampton is serving in her fifth year as part of the Artist Management team at Maverick Nashville. Maverick’s Nashville office is home to Artists such as Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Reba McEntire, Rachel Wammack, and more. Prior to Maverick, Halie spent two years in Radio Promotion for Sony Music Nashville on behalf of an artist roster that included Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. An MTSU Alum and Nashville native, Halie completed internships in Music Video Production and Radio Promotion during her time at Middle Tennessee, which ultimately served as the launching pad for her career in the Music Industry. She has been a member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music since 2012. Now an alumnus, Halie was an active member in Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID) where she devoted time to the University Outreach Sub-Committee within the organization. She currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the Country Music Hall of Fame Troubadour Society working to help expand Museum membership and awareness within the Nashville community for young professionals. In 2017, Halie was named one of Nashville’s Top 30 Professionals under the age of 30, a campaign that recognizes leadership and philanthropy among young professionals within the community who ultimately come together to raise funds and awareness for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.

Join us for the new and improved version of SOLID’s “Bowl for Kids Sake.” Much like the annual bowling event, the "TopContender" TopGolf tournament will feature music industry teams competing to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. To date, SOLID has donated more than $160K to the cause!

The event is open to the public, with the opportunity for 20 teams of 6 to compete in the tournament conducted by two PGA golf pros.

Each team must fundraise a minimum of $1000 to participate. Spectator tickets are available for $25. All attendees will have access to complimentary appetizers, a catered buffet, cash bar, and silent auction/raffle with a wide variety of exciting prizes throughout the night! What are you waiting for? Let’s make this event a hole-in-one!

32nd Annual Music Row Turkey Bowl

32nd Annual Music Row Turkey Bowl
When: Saturday, November 18th
Time: Approx 7:15am – 3pm
Where: E.S. Rose Park (1000 Edgehill Ave.) 
Details: Round up a co-ed football team for one of Music Row’s longest running tournaments! (Music industry teams only).
Cost: $600 Per Team

All proceeds will benefit Nashville Firefighters for Operation Warm, which provides American-made winter coats at no cost to underprivileged children in the local community.  All canned goods donated will go to Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Second Annual Turkey Bowl Cookout sponsored by WME! Complimentary food, snacks, and beverages will be provided for all. Cookout opens at 8 AM

  • THURSDAY (Nov. 16th) is the last day for weigh-in at Second Harvest. The team that collects the most canned goods in weight will be named “The Second Harvest Heavyweight Food Donation Champion” and win a bye!
  • Each player on your team will receive a Turkey Bowl T-shirt!
  • No more than 16 people per team. (If you feel your team will be larger than 16 people, you may want to consider having two teams for your company).
  • You may have ONLY 2 non-industry team members.

Red Rubber Showdown

The Annual Red Rubber Showdown is a kickball tournament that raises money for a charitable cause in honor of SOLID Alumni Ryan Huie. 

The funds raised by this year’s Red Rubber Showdown will support the innovation and offering of a workshop at Onsite in memory of Ryan Huie, who was a member of our organization. The organization offers short and long term experiential therapy workshops designed to help individuals and couples experience a breakthrough and discover a better future. Onsite partners with the world’s top therapists specializing in trauma, codependency, process addiction, stress, and burnout, family of origin, and shame resiliency to help people overcome dysfunctional patterns and establish healthy relationships. 

Registration is $250 per team and teams consist of 9 people.  That’s only about $28 per team member!

Anyone can create a team! New members, alumni, and non-members all are welcome!

There will be lots of fun happening both on and off the field so save the date and get ready to compete for a great cause!
